1st International Conference on Information Literacy
In April, the first international conference for information
literacy was held in Sibiu, Romania. Among other topics, discussions
and presentations about digitization and easier access to
information were held at this conference.
Our Romanian distribution partner Alfasoft s.a gave a presentation
about the mass digitization with the
ScanRobot® SR301
and also introduced the automatic book scanner to a large expert audience.

The participants of this conference were enthusiastic about the high
scanning speed as well as the simple and gentle scanning
technology of the
ScanRobot®.
The participating librarians were also deeply impressed by the easy
handling and comprehensive functions of the
ScanGate™
software.
Before this conference many Romanian librarians only had the chance
to see the functionality of the
ScanRobot®
in videos.
But finally TREVENTUS and Alfasoft s.a. were able to give
the participants the opportunity to take a closer look at the
ScanRobot®.
